I'm Peter Amend - I am a full time wedding & commercial photographer.  Half of my time is spent photographing beautiful love stories, and the other half is lifestyle commercial photography for the outdoor industry (You can see that side of my life over here, or at my personal instagram here!) You can probably tell by now that I’m not an indoorsy type of person :) I think that working in both industries has taught me to appreciate the romance and beauty of relationships, and also the creativity and logistics of commercial work. But really, I absolutely love what I do and it hardly ever feels like work, which is why I’m able to really pour my heart into what I do.

Nothing gives me greater joy than traveling to amazing places to photograph beautiful people. I've spent the last twenty years (since 2001, shooting my first wedding in high school!) honing my craft, photographing people all over the world, and have published photos in many national publications and guidebooks. 

Adventure stokes my spirit, and on my own time you can find me backpacking, surfing, climbing, cycling, or enjoying a campfire in the High Sierra. I ride my bike a lot, eat probably too much sushi, and never care enough to match my socks. 

My true colors shine when I work with likeminded clients - who love the outdoors, aren't afraid of getting dirty, and who love to laugh as much as I do.
